RMIT Students Host Horror Film Festival

We know by now that RMIT students are creative as hell, combining multiple disciplines to create intriguing and amazing things. As part of a Studio in the course of Communications, The Capitol Theatre in collaboration with RMIT will be hosting a horror film festival. The name slaps – Séance International Film Festival (SIFF) – and the student-submitted films are sure to be absolutely riveting.

SIFF are now open for horror film submissions that, ‘evoke excitement and fear amongst the audience’, calling for ‘tales, myths, and stories that aren’t often represented in mainstream horror’. Sounds sick.

Submissions will be premiering at the magnificent Capitol Theatre, alongside a diverse collection of awesome horror flicks from around the world.

SIFF will take place from the 2nd to the 4th of June 2022, with tickets available closer to the date. For now, follow the festival on Instagram and head here to get your submissions in now!
