RMIT Catalyst welcomes you to submit to our second issue of the year, ‘The Cult Edition’

The publication loves to feature all:

Writing 200-500 words (Articles, Editorials, Features, Creative Writing, Poetry, etc.)
Interviews
Digital Art
Photography
Painting (Watercolour, Oil, etc.)
Drawing (Graphite, Pencil, Colour)
Collages

All image submissions to Catalyst must be in a portrait orientation, 300 dpi and submitted in PDF file format. This is to ensure the highest quality print.

All writing submissions must be in PDF or DOCX format, with a preferred name of the writer at the bottom.

What is ‘The Cult Edition’?

The Cult Edition is inspired by the phenomenon of the ‘cult classic’. That is, a film that has acquired a cult following. Some examples of cult classics are The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), Pink Flamingoes (1972), 28 Days Later (2002), Mad Max (1979), An American Werewolf in London (1981) Twilight (2008), Mean Girls (2004) – and many, many more!

It is obscure and mostly unpopular with mainstream audiences, often revolutionary or ironically enjoyed. The Cult Edition is camp; it’s elaborate subculture; it’s subversion; it’s the unwavering defiance of the mainstream.

Catalyst welcomes you to the B-side expression of the human condition.
