Three artists currently occupy the space – Eddy Carroll presents a series of hand-stitched bead and feather sculptures entitled Glimmer of Wild Patience, and Toby Pola uses life-size balsa
wood carvings to explore the dark undertone of suburban Australiana in Drop Out.
Lucus Grogan completes the trio with a truly mouth-dropping piece. Made up of 4000 hand-embroided roses, Grogan uses the form of a bed quilt to discuss the shifting definition of marriage.
Craft does accept exhibition submissions and it is well worth exploring here.
